"Meeting the Challenge in End-to-End Service Management"
Dear Colleagues:
You are cordially invited to join us at APNOMS'99, the third Asia-Pacific Network Operations and Management Symposium following the successful APNOMS'97 held in Seoul, Korea and APNOMS'98 held in Sendai, Japan.
Emergence of new information and networking
technologies and sophisticated customer requirements are changing the
way network operators and service
providers do their businesses. Network operations and management has become
one of the most important issues in
realizing successful businesses and providing customer satisfactions.
APNOMS'99 is one of global symposiums with presentations and participants from around the world, but will strongly reflect the Asia-Pacific region's activities of network and service management issues. APNOMS'99 will be an excellent opportunity for researchers, developers and practitioners to learn and share ideas, views, technologies and experiences on network operations and management.
The three-day symposium of APNOMS'99, taking up "Meeting the Challenge in End-to-End Service Management" as its theme, features an outstanding program. Four international keynote speakers will provide their vision and insight into the challenge in end-to-end service management. In the panel session, distinguished experts will discuss the theme from different perspectives. In eight technical sessions, we will have 40 high quality presentations with timely topics from both industry and academic points of view. The symposium will also offer six tutorials on current hot topics by experts on the subject. Exhibitions will feature both current and future products and ideas.
The APNOMS'99 site, Kyongju, is one of the most popular tourist cities in Korea, where the full-flourished culture of the Shilla Dynasty (57 B.C. - 935 A.D.) is still alive and is one of the ten historic sites designated by UNESCO. As a famous place of historic interest with the nickname "Museum without walls", anyone can appreciate the essence of the oriental beauty in every corner of Kyongju.
I look forward to seeing you all at APNOMS'99.
